PBC news: A second year student of Dhaka University (DU) reportedly committed suicide at his room in Barishal city on Monday.
The deceased was identified as Imam Hossain, a student of Institute of Education and Research (IER) of Dhaka University and a resident of Kabi Jasim Uddin Hall of the University.
Before committing suicide, he on Sunday upload a Facebook Post saying “Al-Bida” which means “Bye” but none of his friends and family member could not understood his motive.
Contracted, his friends said, Imam Hossain was in severe depression for love-relationship problem.
“I heard that he hanged himself at his own house, it is heartbreaking news.” said university Proctor Prof A K M Golam Rabbani.
